    Mark your calendars: Next year’s Aquatennial will be July 23-26, 2025.

    Beloved Aquatennial flagship events will again bookend the Aquatennial in 2025. The Aquatennial Torchlight Parade will take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 and the Target Fireworks on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

    Sign up for the 2024 Aquatennial volunteer program on July 24-27, 2024 will open in Spring 2024.

  • What is the Minneapolis Aquatennial?

    The Minneapolis Aquatennial is the official civic celebration of the City of Minneapolis. Minnesota residents, workers and visitors have come to love and appreciate all that Minneapolis has to offer during the Aquatennial.

    The mpls downtown council (mdc) proudly produces the Minneapolis Aquatennial each year–Minneapolis’ Official Civic Celebration.
